The Linger Cover - Maggie Stiefvater

Maggie Stiefvater is true to her word. She released the cover of the much anticipated sequel to her best-selling, Shiver, today. Look at it. Linger.

And, as if that wasn't enough, she also treated us to the opening paragaph -

• grace •
This is the story of a boy who used to be a wolf and a girl who was becoming one.

Just a few months ago, it was Sam who was the mythical creature. His was the disease we couldn’t cure. His was the good-bye that meant the most. He had the body that was a mystery, too strange and wonderful and terrifying to comprehend.

But now it is spring. With the heat, the remaining wolves will soon be falling out of their wolf pelts and back into their human bodies. Sam stays Sam, and Cole stays Cole, and it’s only me who’s not firmly in my own skin.

Here's the entire post on her blog. July 20, 2010 cannot come fast enough for some of us Mundie Moms. Thank you Maggie!!

Twitter Tuesday - Becca Fitzpatrick

Another Twitter Tuesday and another opportunity to score some swell swag.

This time it's in the form of, well, look yourself -

Hush, Hush tanks!! I know, I squee'd too. Who wouldn't?

"Ride the Archangel"? Every Mundie Mom needs that in the School Pick Up Lane or while snuggled in bed with a good book. Yes, we do!!

We just love Becca's enthusiasm and generosity. And we adore her story, the mythology of course, and yes, Patch as well.

Go and pick up a copy of Hush, Hush and come and post your review and comments in our Hush, Hush Forum.

Don't forget we will be chatting with Becca on Sunday, November 8th. Stay tuned to our blog for more details on the chat.

In the mean time, enjoy the story of Nora and Patch.
